We are a group of san Franciscans, historians, tour guides, and friends.

I observed a gentleman enjoying the sunlit porch at 824 Grove Street; head tilted to the light, cane in hand. My passing salutation led to a light conversation about his stunning home. This encounter with Mr. Richard Reutlinger, beloved steward of the historic Brune Reutlinger Victorian home, came with an impromptu invitation to step inside and peek beyond the gates. 

 

Thus began the weaved connections of stewards, historians, tour guides, preservationists, and travel experts.
